The holidays are over and it is time to head back to school. Ed chats with Tom Armitage about teaching GIS in the modern era. Tom has more than a decade of experience teaching geospatial topics at the University of Edinburgh, and they discuss the current state of GIS training, relevance in the modern working world, and how training programmes can adapt in the face of a rapidly changing technology landscape.
